**This is the seventh post in a series of FAQ’s.**
Yes! The focus of this blog is the new experiences my children try, but I am always trying something new for myself. I haven’t come close the amount of new experiences I tried in 2011, but I’ve enjoyed a couple of new exercise classes, went to a blogging conference, and experimented with some creative projects around my house. The most exciting new experience for me this year was hiking to the top of Half Dome in Yosemite National Park, which challenged me mentally and physically.
I’m no longer keeping a list of my experiences, but I am always looking for ways to learn something new or expand my comfort zone. Trying new experiences is something I love to do. I doubt I’ll ever stop.

Great remainder I think It may be urgent in our life.
Nice reminder that we all need to stretch! You maybe did fewer things but they sound substantial. Carolyn
Definitely. Life is for living and most of the physical signs of aging are correlated more highly with inactivity than they are the natural aging process. I think that seeking new challenges and trying new and different things is very important from a health and happiness perspective. Great blog!
Thanks! Yes, we need to make the most of every moment we have.
Getting to the top of Half Dome is most definitely on my bucket list, too! Congrats to you on such an amazing accomplishment. I managed to face one of my greatest fears (heights) by going ziplining among the treetops. SO worth it!
